Overview
The National Cancer Institute is offering a three-day, virtual educational opportunity that will provide specialized instruction in the role of diet and bioactive food components as modifiers of cancer incidence and tumor behavior.
As a participant in this practicum, you will:
- Learn pertinent pre-clinical and clinical research related to bioactive food components, dietary patterns, and cancer prevention;
- Identify the impact of cutting-edge methodological approaches to nutrition research, including the microbiome, nutrigenomics, and bioenergetics;
- Assess the relationship of obesity, sarcopenia and physical activity on cancer risk, treatment and survivorship; and
- Gain knowledge of training opportunities at the National Cancer Institute.

The LIVE ONLINE John Milner Nutrition and Cancer Prevention Research Practicum will be held:
March 9 from 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM EST
March 10 from 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM EST
March 11 from 12:30 PM – 4:10 PM EST
