ECOG-ACRIN NCORP Research Base - TMIST

The purpose of the TMSIT study is to compare the propor�ons of par�cipants in the Tomosynthesis (TM) and Digital Mammography (DM) study arms experiencing the occurrence of an “advanced” breast cancer at any �me during a period of 7 years from randomiza�on, including the period of ac�ve screening and a period of follow up a�er the last screen. Supplemental funding includes but is not limited to suppor�ng site reimbursements to non-NCORP sites, core infrastructure, clinical data collec�on, biospecimen collec�on and analysis, imaging collec�on, sta�s�cal analysis, physics quality control program, and central monitoring.
