NCI Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program Application Period Opens

The NCI Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program (CPFP), which supports postdoctoral research and leadership training, is accepting applications for the fellows’ class that starts in 2019.

The application period is open until August 25, 2018, for researchers, scientists, or clinicians with a demonstrated interest in cancer prevention. The multidisciplinary fellowship has included epidemiology, biomedical sciences, behavioral sciences, nursing, medicine, health services, disparities, psychology, nutritional sciences, pharmacology, toxicology, biostatistics, engineering, translational science, public health, and others.

The program offers competitive stipends; relocation expenses; health insurance benefits; travel allowances; support for up to 4 years; an opportunity to earn an MPH sponsored by NCI; research opportunities with experienced NCI mentors; and a cohort of fellows spanning STEM and other fields.
