Liver Fibrosis to Cancer &nash; April 22-23, 2019, Bethesda, MD
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Liver Cancer Working Group from the Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP), the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS), and the Division of Cancer Biology (DCB) invite you to attend the Liver Fibrosis to Cancer Workshop at NIH Building 10, Lipsett Auditorium in Bethesda, MD, from Monday, April 22 to Tuesday, April 23. This workshop includes presentations by researchers studying liver disease and cancer within the United States. Sessions will include basic science, epidemiology, early detection, and translational research/clinical trials with an emphasis on exploring opportunities where interventions are likely to marry basic research with translational (biomarkers, reversibility of fibrosis/cirrhosis) research.
