Question 1: What is the NCI’s stance regarding Base PI representation? Right now, our CCOP has a representative PI for, say, NRG. One for COG, etc. The other entities we are looking to collaborate with have their own Base PI representatives.
Question 2: Name of Referral Officer for mailing?
Question 3: With respect to identifying Sr./Key Personnel and "Other Significant Contributors", can you provide guidance as to whether all investigators (particularly for consortium sites with many) and all staff must be listed under one category, the other, or should only be included at all if they play significant roles beyond typical investigator or staff support?
Question 4: FOA-P. 11/35 states "additional instructions" for Bio's. This is missing - where are they?
Question 5: Is it incorrect or disallowed to list the same people in clinical trials activities and CCDR activities?
Question 6: Assuming we do not need to do an All Personnel Report as this is stated for renewal applications only, please confirm.
Question 7: For the purposes of this grant, are co-investigators the physicians that will accrue to clinical trials and/or cancer care delivery research? We typically call them sub-investigators with most being Study PIs. I just want to make sure we list the correct role for the investigators.
Question 8: For PI/PD, do we only list actual PI/PDs who have an ERA Commons registration? We are merging, but we are submitting a single application. So do we put both names (both are registered in ERA Commons)?
Question 9: Can you please confirm that the contact PI must be a primary community site? We were wondering if this would be different in the community since the organizations are so different, i.e., primary site may be a hospital but the PI is at a community practice.
Question 10: In reviewing the multiple PI info, I notice that on page 1 of the General Information, it says Co-PI is not used by the NIH. We have 2 Co-PIs or associate PIs that we wanted to list in addition to the 2 PIs. They are serving in an added administrative function. Should we include that title in the application?
