Question 13: The Grant asks for information related to our Biospecimen tracking for the last 5 years. Can you provide additional information relative to what is specifically needed? What should we report?
Question 14: It appears to me that only one signature is required for grant application submission on the face page. We will have two PIs.
Question 15: Could you please clarify whether an application that is postmarked on or before the due date will be considered on time? What if it has been mailed several days in advance and is still not delivered on the due date?
Question 16: Can you clarify which category any patients that would be age 15 would be placed into?
"Applications should include percentages of patients in cancer registries in the follow categories: 1-15, 15-39, 40-64, 65+; and percentage of patients in their cancer registries over the age of 65".
Question 17: Is it too late to submit my letter of Intent for the NCORP Community Sites RFA-13-013. Please let me know because we would need to apply.
Question 18: What is NCI's expectation for the number of PIs one PI can supervise? We were considering a PI per research base or specialty. Will this be reasonable?
Question 19: Just for planning purposes, in the event of an award, will the grant funds be paid per patient, or as cost reimbursable? Or a combination of the two since part is Clinical Trial and part is not (infrastructure and CCDR)?
Question 20: Under Experience it states: In addition, describe the applicant's contributions (if any) during the past 5 years to the research agenda of the cooperative group and CCOP research bases with which the applicant has been affiliated. Does the research agenda entail submitting concepts or being chair of a protocol? I am confused about exactly what you want us to include.
