Question 1: There is nothing remotely related to primary prevention in the description of possible research foci in Subsection D research priorities and research directions. Would a primary prevention focused Research Base be considered responsive?
Question 2: (Follow on to Question 1. above) If so would there be a notice and/or addendum to the RFA broadening the scope of research areas that are listed in the research priorities in the research direction? There is a reference to lifestyle changes on Page 27 of the guidelines.
Question 3: For the answer about primary prevention: how will reviewers know that a primary prevention focus is included given that the "research priorities" and "research directions" sections of subsection B do not include any reference to primary prevention or lifestyle interventions?
