Question 1: Will we need separate budget pages for the Clinical Trials Program and Cancer Care Delivery Research?
Question 2: Can we request funding for follow-up submission for legacy cases?
Question 3: The guidelines state NCORP will no longer provide funding for preclinical or early stage clinical studies performed by prevention members although NCI will continue to provide support for ongoing legacy studies developed by those members. However, Research Bases may continue to request funding for pilot studies. Are we able to request any infrastructure support for prevention members for example development of new pilot studies or is only legacy support allowable? Please provide clarification of the role the prevention members at NCORP.
Question 4: In NCTN lead academic participating sites will receive per case management funding for enrollment to NCORP trials from the credited Research Base not in their lead academic participating grants?
Question 5: Can a Research Base be funded without the cancer care delivery component?
Question 6: If a Research Base is funded but without the cancer care delivery component for the year 1 infrastructure building, do they have to wait 5 years to re-submit?
Question 7: If you include a collaborative partnership in your application, but one or more of the partners is unsuccessful in securing NCORP funding, how is this handled?
Question 8: The RFA states September 2014 as the earliest start date. Should we use September 01, 2014 as the start date for our budget pages?
